Vivian studied Translation in the University of Hong Kong and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (First Class Honour).
After graduation from the University of Hong Kong, Vivian started her career in the legal field in the Intellectual Property Department of the Government where she served as an Examiner for three years. Her experience at the Intellectual Property Department had paved a way for her to excel in the field of intellectual property law.
With a view to broadening her horizon in the legal field, Vivian left the Intellectual Property Department and joined one of the leading intellectual property law firms in Hong Kong where she worked for three years.
After completing her PCLL studies, Vivian joined RBJL where she qualified as a solicitor and stays on as an assistant solicitor. In addition to her contribution as a trademark practitioner, Vivian’s background in translation has provided tremendous support to the Patents Group to ensure that precise and accurate translation of technical-precise terminology is achieved.
Vivian’s practice also includes designs, copyright, commercial IP and IP litigation.
Vivian is trilingual in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
